Strategic Partnership with Ministry of Education announced.

LookBermuda today launched “Riddle of the Crest”, the first in a series of educational films.

The Minister of Education, the Hon. Elvin James, JP, MP, said, “This first film will make a wonderful resource for teachers at all levels of our school system.  The Riddle of the Crest has it all – it teaches history, demonstrates scientific research, provides insight into Bermuda’s natural history and raises awareness of Global Warming.  We look forward to continuing the process of developing a strategic partnership with LookBermuda – a partnership that will produce the best results for our students.

The series of films, produced by LookBermuda, starts with the "Riddle of the Crest", other films in development include the Sea Venture, the Sargasso Sea and a series of Environmental films with more to follow on an ongoing basis.

LookBermuda has been working closely with the Department of Education’s Curriculum Team to identify ways to create localized content that is captivating whilst still meeting teaching objectives.  Their films are an ideal learning tool for today’s media minded student.

Going forward, teaching modules and lesson plans will be developed and distributed alongside the films, fine-tuned to suit the needs for both the public and private schools, and for ease of access will be distributed via an online Bermuda video streaming platform that LookBermuda is developing for that purpose.
